Violin—Abigail started violin training at the age of 3. She believes that starting young allows the child to grow up with the instrument which helps to develop muscles for the instrument as well as learning key motor skills and coordination. Abigail got a BS in Violin Performance and a Mmus in Composition with a violin secondary. She currently plays for the Greenville Symphony and Spartanburg symphonies.

Viola—In college, viola became a wonderful addition to Abigail’s musical experience. She played in many ensembles and took private lessons. After graduate school, Abigail continued performing and teaching the viola.

Piano—Abigail started private piano lessons at the age of 6 and progressed rapidly to an advanced level. She worked as a student accompanist at Bob Jones University and many of the students she accompanied were music majors including many who went to renowned competitions like MTNA. She continues to use piano in collaborative settings and teaching.
